In welcoming you, the management of the Galaxy Caravan Park is endeavouring to make the park a quiet and friendly place for you to enjoy. However, as in all aspects of social living, regulations relating to each and everyone’s well being must be observed. Your cooperation in adhering to the park regulation will be appreciated and is expected.
General Park Rules
Do not walk between sites unless invited to. These are peoples’ homes and this should be respected. Please use the road and pathways. Do not cause a nuisance or seriously affect the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of your neighbours in the park.
One car per site. Extra vehicles only with managements’ approval. Any car repairs or maintenance must be carried out on the concrete slab in front of the office.
A maximum of 10km/h on all roads and areas within the caravan park.
Residents are responsible for their guest’s behaviour and compliance with park rules.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times – including recreational facilities, push bikes and the amenities. Pathways are for walking only. The concrete road is an adults only area and is out of bounds to children. No responsibility will be taken by management for injuries sustained to children whilst unsupervised on the premises.
Overt drunken behaviour around the park will not be tolerated. This includes excess noise from within your cabin/ site.
Swear as much as you want, but make sure you’re the only one that hears it.
Give your neighbours a break. Please keep radios, TV’s etc. to a minimum at all times. All excess noise should be stopped no later than 10:00pm
Sites are to be kept clean and tidy. All excess equipment and belongings are to be stored out of sight. No items are to be leaned against cabins or caravans.
Please wrap securely and place in the blue wheelie bins. Place aluminium cans in white can bins. Place paper and small cardboard in the red or green recycle bins. Place large cardboard next to the bins or in the yellow cardboard bin near office.
There is a gas BBQ provided in the tent area for all tenants. Please read BBQ instructions thoroughly before use. The BBQ is to be cleaned after each use and all rubbish is to be placed into the wheelie bins.
Unregistered vehicles are not permitted on your site.
You are responsible for your cigarette butts – do not leave them on the ground. All butts are to be placed in the bins or ashtrays provided.
Clothes lines are situated throughout the park for your use. No washing is to be hung from cabins or caravans with makeshift lines.
No pets are allowed long term. All pets must be registered with management at the time of booking. Failure to notify management and the occupancy of an animal is discovered, you will be asked to leave. All pets are to be prevented from making excess noise and any mess it to be cleaned up after by owners. Pet sitting during the day is available upon arrangement with management.

Long Term Tenant Rules
All site fees are to be kept at least one week in advance. With a minimum occupancy period of four weeks for long term accommodation.
If you vacate the premises and there is money owing for rent, damages or cleaning, you will be registered on the TICA database which is used by most rental agencies where your information will be stored for 3 years.
Sites are metered individually and power rates are charged on a sliding scale in accordance to the Department of Mines and Energy. You are to read your electricity meter and pay it with your site fee.
Long term tenant departure requires a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Notice is to be given during office hours in writing to management. Payment of rental fees are required in lieu of inadequate notice given. Any damages and cleaning is the occupant’s responsibility. Departure time is 10:00am unless prior arrangement is made with management. Form 13 Notice of Intention to Leave are available at the office upon request.
Bond refunds will only be given once the caravan or cabin has been vacated and inspected by management. Inspections will only be carried out between 9:00am-3:00pm Monday to Friday. Cabins are to be left clean and tidy or a cleaning fee will be charged. Sites are to be left free of rubbish.

It is your responsibility to insure your own personal contents and/ or your own caravan. These are not covered by the lesser’s insurance policy.
If your gardens or surrounding area needs landscaping attention please alert management.
Long term tenant rent and electricity payments are to be confined to 4:30pm – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm – 5:00pm Friday and 9:00am – 10:00am on Saturday. Payments made outside this time will not be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
