About Us

Welcome to Galaxy Caravan Park

The Turner Family

.                                   Jermia Turner (Granddaughter), David Turner (Patriarch) and Lia Turner (Daughter)

We’re a quaint holidaying destination located in Tanah Merah, Queensland. Nestled comfortably between Brisbane City and the Gold Coast, our caravan park boasts outstanding friendliness, a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness. This is the perfect place to base yourself as you explore all that South-East Queensland has to offer. The Turner family has owned the caravan park since 1974 and we’re proud to say that we’re still owned and operating in the same way – three generations along! With the assistance of a small and very capable team, the park is able to exist in the homely way that it is and we look forward to welcoming you on your future stay with us.

JermiaWe are a caravan park that caters to both long-term tenants and tourists. With our long-term residents, we’ve created our own little, friendly community which we love to extend to our tourists. We foster a friendly and safe environment for everyone on the premises so whether you’re staying for a night or for a year, you’ll be surrounded by a friendly and supportive network.

Travelling with pets? No problems! We’re a pet friendly caravan park for our tourist sites. If you’re travelling in your own van and you want to bring your furry friend along, please do! All we ask is for general courtesy to others – cleaning up after your pet, that they are kept on a leash at all times and that all noise is kept to a minimum. This will ensure that you and your furry family enjoy a quiet and safe stay.

At Galaxy, we care about animals and their well being – please let us know when you’re booking your site that you’re travelling with a pet and we will do our best to allocate you a space with adequate shade. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets long-term or in any of our cabins.

Our biggest draw cards for returning clientele are the relaxed vibe, spotless amenities, saltwater pool and abundance of Australian wildlife. Close proximity to the Loganholme Hyperdome bus station and Loganlea train station makes public transport a breeze, meaning you beat the traffic and avoid parking costs! We also often have people come and stay with us due to our prime location near the Logan Hospital. With our park being only a short 9 minute drive from the hospital doors, it makes our park a sought after location for many during ongoing treatments and appointments.

Why not come along and experience the park for yourself? We’ve been doing this since ’74 so we know what we’re doing. We have also got a wealth of information and knowledge about the area and the industry – so if you’re not sure what to do, where you’re going or how to get there all you have to do is ask and we’ll do our best to help out however we can.
