FAQ’s

If you haven’t been able to find an answer to any questions you may have throughout the rest of our site, we’ve compiled a list of some common questions that we receive to try and help solve any additional queries.


Can I make a booking online?

You can’t make a booking online through our website, but you can enquire about availability. We’re an old school operation and we do everything ourselves, that means that whenever you’re receiving correspondence from us it’s from a person, not a computer. You can fill in a booking enquiry form on our contact us page where we will assess availability for your booking and respond accordingly.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes we are! We love having animal visitors. If you’re travelling in your own van and are staying less than two (2) weeks, you’re more than welcome to bring your pet along. We don’t allow pets long-term or in any of our cabins.

Do you have a dump point?

Yes we do. If you’re staying with us the dump point is completely free of charge. If you’re travelling through and would like to use this facility we charge a $5.00 dump fee.

Are you open 24 hours?

No we’re not. As we’re a small family business we don’t have the 24/7 operating capacity that big companies do, we’re humans and need our sleep too, but we’ll happily help as much as we can during our office hours.

Can we check in after office hours? (5:00pm)

Absolutely! Sometimes things just happen and time gets away from us. As long as you call and let us know that you’ll be arriving late – and have paid your booking deposit – we’ll organize everything for you. We’ll leave you a map on the office door to get to your site or cabin so you don’t get lost. If you’re staying in a cabin we’ll explain the process of picking up your key to you over the phone.

What time can we check in?

If you’re staying in one of our cabins, check in time is 2:00pm, however, give us a call and we may be able to get you in earlier if your cabin has already been cleaned. If you’re booked on to a site, check in time is 1:00pm, however, feel free to give us a call to check if your site has been vacated early.

What time do we have to check out?

To give our cleaners time to clean your cabin, our check out time is 10:00am. If you’re on a site, checkout time is 12:00 midday.

What are your office hours?

We are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 12:30pm on Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday’s and Public Holidays.

I haven’t received my confirmation email?

Make sure you check your junk folder. Sometimes emails from businesses can be automatically filtered away so it looks like we haven’t sent you anything when really we have. If for some reason it’s been 24 hours and you still haven’t received your confirmation, please let us know and we’ll do our best to try and resolve the problem!

How can I leave a review? 

Firstly, thank you for wanting to leave us a review! There are plenty of places that you can leave reviews online for us, such as on Tripadvisor, Yelp, True Local etc. If you would like your review to be featured on our webpage you can simply contact us via email and we will post your review for you. Please notify us in your email if you’re happy for us to use your name in your review.
